The coaxial cable bushing is a quick and easy hazardous area solution when it comes to connecting an antenna cable to a wireless device housed in an Ex d or Ex p enclosure. Our 9730 series HF isolator produces the intrinsically safe radio signal required. The antenna cable is connected via the standard type N plug connector.

R. STAHL’s coaxial cable bushings are compact, and their IP66 degree of protection makes them robust enough to use in offshore applications. What is more, they can withstand an impressive range of temperatures, from -60 °C to +150 °C.

The 9731 series coaxial bushing perfectly complements our HF isolator (9730/26-11), as it enables standard antennas to be connected in Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 hazardous areas with its standard type N plug connector. It can be installed quickly and easily, is compact and robust, and can also be used for offshore applications.
