R. STAHL’s cable glands can be used for routing cables directly into “flameproof” enclosures (Ex d) and for routing cables indirectly into “increased safety” enclosures (Ex e). Their modular design makes them incredibly versatile, meaning that a suitable configuration can be obtained for any type of cable construction. They are available in a choice of materials and versions for unarmored cables and cables with metal armoring. Because they fulfil all the requirements of the European ATEX directive, the relevant IEC standards, and many other, national standards, they can be used virtually anywhere in the world.
