Cable end boxes for hazardous areas
R. STAHL’s 8146 series cable end boxes connect electric lines for currents of up to 400 A in hazardous areas, and are equipped with terminals of between 35 and 185 mm² to meet your exact requirements. Their polyester resin enclosures and IP66 type of protection make these high-current terminal boxes robust, as well as making them an excellent choice for use in offshore applications and at low temperatures.

R. STAHL will configure the 8146 series cable end boxes with terminals between 35 and 185 mm², exactly as you need. The ingoing and outgoing electric lines are routed into the enclosures via cable glands and cable entries. Depending on the version, these enclosures are suitable for rated operational currents of up to 400 A. The enclosure on the high-voltage terminal boxes is made from glass-fibre-reinforced polyester resin and boasts type of protection IP66, making these terminal boxes suitable for use in offshore environments.

CABLE END BOXES SERIES 8146

The cable end boxes in the R. STAHL Series 8146 comprise robust glass fibre reinforced Ex e enclosures. They are equipped with 35–185 mm² terminals. These are suitable for voltages up to 690 V, the rated operational current is max. 400 A depending on the enclosure version. The incoming and outgoing cables are fed into the enclosures via cable glands.
