PAC CARRIER/BACKPLANE SOLUTION

The 9194 series pac bus supplies 30 to 50 ISpac devices per pac bus segment with auxiliary power and receives error messages from these devices via a zero-potential contact. It is quick and easy to install on high- or low-profile DIN rails without the need for tools, and can be expanded at any time. The system is mechanically highly robust, making it perfect for industrial environments.

R. STAHL’s pac carrier saves both time and money when connecting Ex i field devices to I/O modules of all common automation systems, as well as preventing connection errors. Our comprehensive range offers solutions for virtually any DCS and PLC system.

The benefits of R. STAHL’s pac carriers are clear: They reduce the amount of time required for installation by more than 40% for large signal volumes, and the possibility of wiring errors is eliminated thanks to the standardised connecting cable. The robust carriers can integrate both Ex i and non-Ex i signals.

The pac carrier is designed to be compatible with automation solutions from all the well-known manufacturers: Emerson, Honeywell, Schneider Invensys, Siemens and Yokogawa. If your system is not on the list, there is no need to worry as it also offers universal solutions. For efficient cooling exactly where it’s needed, we have the cool ventilation duct (CVD). This optional duct can be installed in your control cabinet.

On request, R. STAHL can also install and wire complete control cabinets or container solutions. With our complete solutions, you can reduce your project risk.
