R. STAHL’s glass-fiber-reinforced polyester resin empty enclosures are available with Ex e (increased safety) type of protection and are therefore suitable for the installation of devices and components in hazardous areas. They are available in eight basic sizes and various heights, and can be combined to form larger units. The enclosures are sealed by means of captive cover screws. The empty enclosures have partial certification, which can be used only as a basis for certifying a device or protective system in Zones 1, 2 and 21, 22.
