R. STAHL’s miniCLIX plug connectors separate non-intrinsically safe signals in Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 hazardous areas quickly and safely, even under load. They are easy to install, incredibly straightforward to use and amazingly versatile, even in fieldbus systems.

STAHL plug connector system is perfect for connecting actuators, so sensors and other electrical equipment that consumes up to 10 A of power in fieldbus installations and instrumentation and control equipment. But miniCLIX plug connectors are compact and are easy to connect by means of crimping or electric lines. The products in this series are available in different versions and materials in the form of device plugs, flange sockets and connectors/couplings.
R. STAHL Series 8591/2 7-pole, explosion-protected miniCLIX plug connectors disconnect non-intrinsically safe circuits up to 400 V/16 A and are used as a hot swap plug connection for signal and data cables. :They are available in various versions and materials
Device plugs, flange sockets, plugs/couplers made of polyamide, nickel-plated brass or stainless steel. So, The cable can be connected using a crimp or spring clamp terminal. Preinstalled cables for device plugs and flange sockets enable fast and safe installation in the end devices.
This innovative technology allows installation and maintenance work to be carried out in Zone 1, even on devices with non-intrinsically safe circuits while these devices are in operation, without having to disconnect them from the power supply and without needing a hot work permit.
